Your media stays on your device

SoveStudio opens video, image and audio files directly in your browser. Those files are not uploaded to Sove. Editing, preview and export all run locally, and the exported file is saved to your own downloads folder.

This is a consequence of how SoveStudio renders, not a promise layered on top of it: the renderer is the browser, so there is nowhere else for the footage to go.

What we do receive

Features that are not built yet

The AI tools listed in the interface (script to video, voiceover, subtitles, background removal) are marked planned and do nothing today. When they are built they will need to send material to an AI provider to work, and this page will say exactly what is sent and to whom before any of them ships. Nothing is sent today.

Paid rendering

A future paid tier will render long or 4K video on external render infrastructure rather than in your browser. That path necessarily involves sending your project and its assets off your device. It will be opt-in per export, clearly labelled at the moment of use, and it is not available today.

Deleting your data

Media you added is released when you close the tab; nothing of it persists on our side. To remove your Sove account and the identity data attached to it, use the account controls at Sove Hub.
